Enjoying...

Lately, I have been enjoying...

Crocheting yet more flowers with this gorgeous bright purple yarn given to me by my lovely mum...

Having pretty flowers around the house, some from the garden and some from the supermarket...

Reading the latest issue of Simply Crochet and planning lots of projects. I am enjoying this issue so much and am very keen on the peg bag, wrist corsage, birdhouse bunting and tissue box holder...

Sewing in the ends and finishing off my ice cream blanket at last...

Eating lemon drizzle cake with a nice cup of tea...

Lots of good little moments in a busy week! This week looks as if it will be very busy too as it is the last week of term before the school summer holidays and there are lots of extra things on as well as the usual work, swimming, play dates etc. Hopefully I will be able to squeeze in at least a little crafty activity too...!

Thank you for the lovely comments on my last post and welcome to my new readers and followers!

Also, I keep reading about Google Reader going really soon so thought I would just mention that if you would like, you can continue to keep up with my blog posts using bloglovin' and there is a button at the top right hand of the page.

Back soon...

X

Our schools don't break up for summer until 19th July this year, are yours very early, or ours very late? Let's hope it's a nice sunny break for everyone!

  6. The flower looks great. Try this pattern from my tutorials 3D flower - It gives a great edge but a raised shape rather than a flat one. I am getting a bit worried about google reader and need to do something - like open a facebook account been trying to put it off. Jo x

  14. I love your posts, they always cheer me up, thank you!! Loving the purple yarn and those little buttercup and daisy posy's you've done in the eggcups are gorgeous. I think there is something very uplifting about being surrounded by beautiful flowers, it certainly brightens my days. Don't usually read Simply Crochet, but might have to get this issue. Lemon drizzle looking delicious. It is my intention to make either lemon drizzle or lemon meringue this week, yum enjoy!! xoxo

  19. Love the little egg cups with the buttercups and daisies, reminds me of flowers collected by my daughter from my garden. Purple is one of my favourite colours.

Not too sure what happens on the 1st July. I'm just getting into this logging lark and don't have a Facebook account. Hope I don't loose everything.
