Decopatch Day

Yesterday my mum came over and along with Miss M, we spent a nice morning together doing some decopatch. We had bought the supplies at our day out in Glasgow last month and had been waiting for a day when we could all get together and get stuck in so to speak!

Pretty papers...

Miss M decopatching a little piggy...

Our finished efforts. Miss M says she is going to finish her 'M' tomorrow as the forecast is for rain anyway. I also spent some time working on another decopatch project which I will be finished very soon and will share here then...
We discovered that Ikea votive candles are pretty perfect for decopatch...
It was a lovely morning which we all enjoyed. Decopatch has now become one of my favourite crafts, I love how it can totally transform the look of an object and it's fantastic to do with kids as well.
Happy weekend, whatever you are up to :)

  6. I agree with Mezz - I bought some wooden initials and hearts at a craft fair six weeks ago, and you've inspired me to decopatch them finally! Looks like fun to share with the girls as well, thanks! Cx

  10. That looks like a lot of fun!

I have a bag full of those cardboard letters and I just can't decide what to do with them. They keep taunting me. I need to make a decision and get cracking! x
