It feels like autumn is really here now. There is a definite nip in the air and it's dark by 7pm here! But I don't mind because there are lots of things I like about this season....
Walks with G and Miss M...
Tasty soups ... and puddings with lots of custard...
Cosy nights in with the wood burner on...
New chunky yarn for cosy projects. I am currently making a hot water bottle cosy which I am enjoying so much. The pattern is from the lovely Cocorose Diaries...
Happy days!

We've resisted lighting the wood burner so far, but now the weekend is here we may just do it! Lots of soups & crumbles here though - can't beat freshly picked blackberry & Apple crumble with custard :)
ReplyDeleteYeah custard definitely! we are trying to build ourselves up to installing a wood burner in our log cabin because it is getting cold up on the hill now. Your photos have made me want to wire brush ours down and get it stoked. Jo xx

I totally agree with all your autumn likes. I haven't made soup yet but have done a sausage casserole - another good old autumn dish. Had the wood burner lit at the weekend too.
