Colour Inspiration



I love the bright, fresh colours of Miss M's new dress...




These pretty ribbons which my brownies have been using for their crafts are such lovely colours...





The delicate pink and peach of these roses seem sort of vintage to me...soft and pretty...


Gorgeous colours, brights and pastels - fresh and soft. Giving me lots of inspiration for new projects!

      Is that dress from Next? I bought the"big girl" version of it for my daughter when we were in the UK in March. We, too, fell in love with its pretty shades and garden of flowers!

    I like blue at any time of year. Strangely, I rarely knit anything blue. But that is due to change soon as I have a lovely sky blue yarn that will make a beautiful baby blanket.

    At the moment I'm working with pink and green yarns. In the delicate shades of pink and that vivid green of leaves . I think it might have something to do with all the beautiful flowers in bloom. I love your roses.

    I love the fabric of that dress. All-over tiny flower prints always appeal to me. Right now, I've been really into light aqua and ice-blue. I keep finding myself drawn to them lately.

    Such pretty photos Marianne, pretty ribbons and trims make me feel like a magpie. As you know I'm working with bright colours of orange, cerise and turquoise at the moment. Hx

    Beautiful summery colours Marianne. I like seasonal colour around me so lots of brights at the moment in flowers and clothes too. I found myself leaving the house today in a lilac jacket, lime green scarf, pink top, green and blue shoes all topped off with a large bright orange handbag! I felt great! Did get a few odd looks though... x
