Ring a Ring o' Roses

I have seen lots of yarny wreaths all over blog land recently. So, I decided to make my own in my favourite colour...

Seven crochet roses were made. Pattern from Nicki Trench's Cute & Easy Crochet...

A polystyrene wreath was purchased and yarn wound around it like a giant pompom...

The pretty red pins from my pin box were selected...

Here is the end result...

And here it is hanging up on the wall in the living room!

I am really happy with how it has turned out and am now planning one in pastel colours for our bedroom!
