...in a very full week! Miss M goes back to school on Monday so it has been pretty hectic here getting things organised. I have also been busy, busy at work and have had some extra things to do for that this week too. Although I haven't had much time for crafting or baking, I have been enjoying some very simple things...
A pretty posy of flowers from the garden. Can you see Miss M's wellies? They are covered in little horse pictures and she is in love with them! She wants to wear them all the time...
G's homemade bread. He loves making it and we all enjoy eating it! It's especially good with strawberry jam...
A cup of tea in bed whilst browsing one of my favourite knitting books - The Knitter's Year by Debbie Bliss. Lots of inspiration for new projects...
What simple things have you been enjoying this week?
X
We have been enjoying the holidays, crafting with the children and going swimming. Love those wellies. Jo x

I wish it was bread and jam time now! Lovely flowers - I do like flowers!
ReplyDeleteI love fresh bread and jam, that looks scrummy!
ReplyDeleteMy simple pleasures have been a bit of sewing (wallhangings for autumn), tidying the garden (its so satisfying to see it tidy now when it was flopping everywhere) and eating my own home grown tomatoes!
So glad you have enjoyed your summer, love the pictures
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet little post! I also love those boots and wouldn't want to take them off either!

ReplyDeleteMmm that bread looks scrummy, and those boots are so cute I wouldn't want to take them off either ~ Sarah x
ReplyDeleteGosh your girls are back early, mine have got another couple of weeks as yet. Lovely photos, but that bread and jam is making me feel hungry! Julie x
ReplyDeleteThat bread looks delicious. I really should go back to making my own, it's so much nicer than most of the bread you buy :)
ReplyDeleteThose are all lovely simple things to enjoy. I love M's wellies too, how cute!
ReplyDeleteThe simple things are what nostalgic memories are made of! We have enjoyed simply playing at home, a bit of gardening, gobbling peaches and nectarines while they're still in season, and meeting up with friends. Lovely post! Cx
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post, summers just flown by this year.
