A Sausage Dog

The best thing about the Easter holidays, is that with no school for Miss M, we get to spend a bit more time together. Yesterday, we made this sausage dog...

Miss M did most of it herself ( I love her sweet little stitches around the heart!), I just helped out a little and sewed on the button eyes. It was a great wee project for her, using things we had around the house already. It took less than hour to complete, which seems to be the perfect time for a project for a six year old, any longer and she can get a bit distracted! The tutorial can be found here. Today, we are spending the morning at a friends house and then we are going to have some time in the kitchen together, doing a little cooking and baking. A good way to spend the day I think.

Xxxx
