It's been a blue kind of week...
New dark blue yarn. I am planning a Christmas (!!!) present with this...
Loving my teacup necklace bought with some birthday money recently...
A little posy of flowers picked in the garden by Miss M especially for me...
Lots of lovely blues in my current cross stitch...
Blue straws. I bought a lovely pack of prettily coloured straws in Ikea recently and Miss M sorted them all out into colours. This week has been a blue straw week, last week was pink...
In town with a good friend today I bought this skirt. I really love the pretty print...
Thank you so much for the sweet comments about my jam pot covers. I am still trying to finish off the ice cream blanket but keep getting distracted by crochet! I seem to be obsessed by crochet at the moment and keep planning new projects. I have another really small little crochet make to show you really soon and then it's definitely back to knitting at least until the blanket is finished. I didn't realise how much slower than crochet knitting is!

Blue is my favourite colour, and your yarn looks very interesting. A beautiful posy of flowers from your daughter. Another interesting make - your cross stitch, I love the splash of orange.

I love that teacup necklace. Those flowers are so pretty and your skirt is so unusual.
ReplyDeleteI love blue, it's my favorite after purple. The teacup necklace is adorable, and it looks nice with that top you're wearing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely lot of blue, love the sky blue straws and the sweet little posy. I to have knitting languishing mines a leaf cushion, as you say it takes so long compared to crochet.
ReplyDeleteOh just keep crocheting, I say! ;-) I tried learning to knit after Little Flower was born, I couldn't get my head round the slowness of it all and contend with a new baby...I like to think that I will try knitting again in the winter, when she turns four. Til then it's instant gratification with quick crochet makes! Chrissie x PS I want your necklace!!!
ReplyDeleteAm knitting final sleeve of 4yr olds ballet cardigan -seems to take forever. Crochet is much quicker! Loving the skirt too x
ReplyDeleteI have realised when I looked at my ravelry projects how much crochet I actually turn out - it is so much faster. I have a knitted cardigan for big sis on the go which seems endless. Love your bits of blue. Jo x

Blue's my favourite colour so I like all of these photos :) I've recently bought some Debbie Bliss Rialto too though mine is cream and I'm doing a crochet project with it. I have to confess I think I prefer knitting though. x
