New year, new blog, new books!

 

The start of a new year is always a good time to make some crafty goals, and this year I have lots! My main aim this year is to give everyone a handmade gift and of course to record it on this blog. So for every birthday as well as Mother's Day, Easter, Father's Day, thank you gifts, baby gifts and of course Christmas (!), I aim to make something for each recipient. The ladies and children should be easy enough but the males on the list may prove more of a challenge (if all else fails there's always cake).

This year I received some lovely, very inspiring new craft books with lots of things that I can't wait to make so I have lots of ideas already.

I have already completed my first (very small) make. A little tote bag as part of a birthday gift for a friend of my daughter (6th birthday). Hopefully it will be well received!

Next on the list is something for my lovely wee daughter's 6th birthday.....
