Three Good Things

New yarn! I love the colours of this Stylecraft Special DK together, they remind me of Neapolitan ice cream... A friend has asked me to make a cot blanket for her 16 month old wee girl and doesn't mind if it's knitted or crocheted or what the style is, only that the colours match the nursery. So a little bit of artistic license for me here! I have a pattern in mind and as I've been doing lots of crochet recently, I plan to knit this blanket for a change. I'm going to make a start on it tonight whilst I watch Twilight on DVD...

A new magazine, Prima Spring Makes bought for me by G a few days ago. This magazine is just so lovely! There are lots and lots of beautiful projects in it, many of which I am planning to make! I so enjoyed looking through this magazine today with a cup of tea whilst it was miserable outside, lots of prettiness and inspiration...

Making banana loaf with Miss M after school today, it has been a perfect day for a little baking actually. The recipe can be found here. I enjoyed a slice (with butter, you have to have it with butter!) with a cup of tea after dinner this evening...

Thank you for the lovely comments on the little baby blanket - they are very much appreciated. Happy weekend to everyone and thank you for visiting my little space here :)
