I made this little brooch yesterday, and I have to say, I am really happy with it! It's perfect for brightening up a plain cardigan...
I made five of these simple little hearts in DK cotton using a 4mm crochet hook. I then sewed them all onto a double circle of felt, embellished the hearts with pretty polka dot buttons and attached a brooch pin to the back.
I think this would also work making the hearts all the same colour and using coordinating buttons - I'm thinking red hearts with red and white polka dot buttons...
The possibilities for using these little hearts seem endless! I have already used them in a couple of little projects here and here and I am very grateful to Cornflower Blue for the pattern.
Welcome to my new readers and thank you to everyone who visits me here! And also, a big thank you for the lovely comments you leave me, they are always read and always appreciated.
