Over the past few days, I have been busy knitting some little hats for the Innocent Big Knit campaign. It has been the perfect way to use up small amounts of yarn from my stash - they are enjoyable and quick to knit and of course, it's all for a very good cause too.
I have made my hats quite girly in pastel colours but there are lots more fun and quirky ideas here. There is still plenty of time if you feel the urge to knit up some little hats, as the deadline is not until the 1st of October....
Thank you all for the lovely comments on my "Favourites" post - it seems we have quite a lot in common!

What a good way to use up left overs and all for a good cause. I knit squares for my friend who works for charity and the lovely ladies make them into blankets. Have not done any for ages, winter is the time to do them when the gardening drops off the list. Jo x
ReplyDeleteSo lovely, I cannot knit these, but I usually buy some. I have a stash of very little hats and no idea what to do with them - perhaps I will top off my easter eggs, or now that I think of it what about some little gourds for halloween with hats on. Now you have sent me off on another crafty track.....
ReplyDeleteSuper little hats in such juicy sweet colours! I love crafting for a cause, well done you! Chrissie x

ReplyDeleteThese hats are very pretty. If I make them again I might try to decorate some like this instead of making bobbles. I've started following your blog as it is just the type of knitting blog that appeals to me. Best wishes, Una of Great Balls of Wool blog.
