Sew Sweet

Miss M and I spent a little time together doing some sewing yesterday. She wanted to make "a little sewn picture", so that is what we did...

Miss M designed the little picture herself, drawing the house and sun onto bondaweb and choosing a big green button for the tree. The house and sun are made from craft felt and the background is from an old calico tote bag. I did all the areas where the iron was needed but all the sewing she did on her own. She then painted the embroidery hoop pink using a little tester pot of paint we had. She is very proud of it and I think it looks very sweet.

Here it is hanging up in her (very very pink!) room...

Thank you for the lovely comments on my new scarf, I will be sure to pass them on to my mum! Back soon...

X
