Craft Organisation

I had some annual leave from work last week and on my 'to-do' list was sorting out my craft supplies. So a couple of hours was spent tidying and sorting...

And it all looks so much better! This was a job that I had been putting off to be honest, but when I started I found that I was actually enjoying it...especially as I discovered quite a few things I had forgotten I had. I really must find a use for all that fabric...maybe quilting could be a new interest? As if I need any more crafty hobbies!

Notice there is only 2 balls of yarn there? Well organising the yarn stash is something I am yet to do! I suppose that will be a whole other post...

  2. Some lovely organising there Marianne. It is funny as I am in the process of doing the very exact job, minus the yarn (just too overwhelming to even think about it, let alone do it!). Yours is looking really pretty and incredibly tidy, I am not sure I am going to achieve that, so well done! Thanks for your lovely comments and wishing you a very wonderful weekend. xoxo

  6. My yarns are the only things I do have organised as they're in big plastic boxes. I did try organising my fabrics recently, folding them in lovely neat piles in their 2 drawers. Sigh, it's all a mess again now though as I've been pulling out and auditioning fabrics for my latest project. I definitely think you should have a go at quilting :) x

  7. That looks lovely! I havent got anywhere special to put my crafting supplies so they are all hidden away in cupboards and spare wardrobes. I have to spend ages rooting through to find things.

  16. Hi Ladybird will you come over and help me too - your room looks stunning - things always look better when they are in their place rather than all over the shop like my little room. You have inspired me to make a start today Ladybird. Thanks for a great post as always, have a fab weekend.
    Lots of love

  17. Oh I'd so love to have a little crafty cupboard like that for all my bits and pieces. My stuff is all just stacked in the corner of the kitchen and I can never find anything that I'm looking for. It drives me mad!!
