Crochet-a-long

After both receiving copies of Nicki Trench's gorgeous new book, Cute & Easy Crochet with Flowers, lovely Chrissie of Chrissie Crafts and I decided to organise a little crochet-a-long. As the nights are starting to draw in, it seems the perfect time to cosy up with a new crochet project or to finish off a work in progress, and then share what we have all been doing on our blogs...

This book is just lovely and it has been really difficult to chose a project, but Chrissie and I have both decided to do the hexagon throw. However, there are lots of smaller projects too and Chrissie has more exciting news about this and a giveaway too, do visit her blog here for more details...

I know a few of you have the book already and Claire has already completed a gorgeous little project from it here.

It would be fabulous if some of our bloggy friends would join us in our little crochet-a-long! There is a little button, designed by Chrissie, which you can add to your blog if you wish to join in. We aim to start next week, at the beginning of the month. Exciting stuff...

X

  2. Do we have to do a project from the book? I don't have the book yet. But a crochet-along sounds like a lot of fun!

    1. Hi Jennifer
You can work on any project that you wish! I will be working on one from the book and probably a few others too as I find it impossible to only have one crochet project on the go at a time!

  7. The CAL is a great idea Marianne, but, whilst I would love to 'join up', I'm really feeling that I can't commit to anything else at the moment. Have lots of fun and I'll enjoy watching out for everyone's lovely WIPs.
All the very best with it!

  8. I'm really looking forward to seeing what else you make from the book as I haven't decided whether to buy it or not yet. My quilting addiction is back in full force at the moment though so all I can dream of is thread and fabric :) x

  10. I really wish I could join in but I've been suffering from repetitive strain injury from all the crochet I did over the summer months. But it's a great idea and I hope that lots of people join in with it. Best of luck.
