Weekend Snippits

 

 

Miss M and I treating ourselves to breakfast in bed (mine!) and a leisurely read of our favourite magazines...

Little Easter cards Miss M has been busy making for her friends...

A cupcake beautifully decorated by Miss M (not that I'm biased or anything) at a birthday party she was at yesterday...

 

Enjoying the warmth of the wood burner last night. It has been so cold, wet and miserable here these last couple of days...

Sewing in the ends of my crochet granny blanket. It is now blocking and I cannot wait to put it on our bed and properly appreciate it...

Another weekend over! Hope everyone has had a good one. Hello to my new readers and followers, thank you so much for visiting...

    don't you think the snipped ends of crochet look just lovely when they are together like they are in your bowl - so pretty. I can never bring myself to throw them away and keep them in a jar. I did read that if you put them outside in spring birds will use them for nest-making - I like the idea of that so might set a few of mine free!

    That breakfast in bed looks wonderful! It never occurred to me to let my two eat their breakfast in bed. I think it would descend into chaos with spills and crumbs everywhere...

    Sounds like a lovely weekend. Breakfast in bed with magazine reading sounds lovely. We just about manage a cup of tea in bed but with a bouncy two year and a 4 month old it tends to descend into chaos! Love Miss M's cards. Fiona x
